We're teaming up with 3DE by Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana. Last week we got to spend time at North Side High School coaching students on their projects. 3DE is an education model that infuses real world, project-based learning with the curriculum. This model not only creates important connections but prepares students for life beyond the classroom and we are honored to be a part of that!

Lassus Handy Dandy, 777 Parker St., Warsaw, presented Stillwater Hospice with a $2,610 donation Tuesday. Store Manager Lora Bridegam said from Nov. 7 to Dec. 1, all the Lassus stores do the “Be a Blessing” fundraiser, which is a tradition Lassus has done for years. The donation came from customers choosing to round their purchases up. https://lnkd.in/gAzw_qf9.

It may be a year away, but plans are underway putting details together. 2025 marks the 100th year anniversary of the first Lassus fueling station. An event this large takes a full year of planning! Stay tuned for future announcements.

Zachary Parr CONVENIENCE OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR LASSUS BROS OIL INC. • Parr began his career with Lassus Bros Oil as a customer service representative before quickly making his way up the ladder to his current role, where he directly oversees operations and leadership of eight managers and one district coordinator.                • Since his most recent promotion, Parr has grown his district’s sales, improved its turnover, and “done a phenomenal job developing his team,” according to his nominator. He has developed many new managers and was instrumental in the success of the company’s most recent new-build store.            • Parr strives to operate in his position through servant leadership, expressing to his team that he works for them rather than the other way around.

8th Annual Operation Be A Blessing Check Presentation to Associated Churches Our 2023 Operation Be a Blessing wrapped up last week and we are excited to announce that due to the hard work of our team, the extremely generous donations from our amazing customers, and a generous donation from the Lassus Foundation, we were able raise over $75,000.00 for organizations that support children & families within the communities that we serve!   To highlight just a few: • Our Huntington store raised over $1200 for Blessings in a Backpack - Huntington IN        • Montpelier raised over $3400 for the Montpelier Ohio Police Department Shop with a Cop program                                                                     • Our Goshen store raised over $6800 to help with unpaid lunch funds at Wawasee Schools                                                               • The Fort Wayne stores raised over $33,000.00 for Associated Churches of Fort Wayne and Allen County!   Thank you to everyone who supported our Be a Blessing campaign this year! Your donations make a huge & meaningful impact on so many families in our communities!

This last weekend, the Lassus Team celebrated hard work, blessings, friendship, and family at our annual Christmas Party and Team Member Awards Banquet. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas season filled with hope, fellowship, blessings, and peace!
